Home Careers Alumni
A firm member's career does not end after he or she leaves McKinsey. Many of our former consultants go on to very successful careers after they leave the firm. Most, if not all, of them would likely state that the time they spent at McKinsey played a critical role in shaping their career.
We are proud of the fact that many prominent leaders in the private, public, and non-profit sectors are McKinsey alumni. These leaders include: Louis Gerstner (IBM), Harvey Golub (American Express), Michael Jordan (Westinghouse), Thomas Albani (Electrolux), and many others.
Some choose to stay at McKinsey for many years before pursuing other interests, while some choose to stay for only a few years before embarking on new adventures. Regardless of the path they ultimately choose, our alumni continuously benefit from their McKinsey experiences and network.
